The 5th annual Boston Ahts Festival In Christopher Columbus park is a whole weekend packed with activities. The Arts Festival was designed to launch Boston's performing arts fall season and provide an open studios preview.
This year includes the addition of artisan foods and more artists. Over 70 jurried Boston artists and craftspeople gather in the park to show and sell their work.
There will also be a performing arts program through out the day. Musical and performing acts will be centered on the picturesque waterfront stage. Returning performances include the Boston Ballet and the Boston Pops Ensemble.
Participatory arts and family friendly activities will be programmed for the two-day event, last year included face painting, story tellers and a large group drawn mural.
